Data Download (WebUpdate)
Central download of all CAMPUS data in one single step
CAMPUS WebUpdate is a tool for easy updating CAMPUS data. You only need WEBUPDATE.EXE and Internet access
on your computer.
WebUpdate is part of the CAMPUS system files from version 5.0 on.
The download of the EXE file is only required once.
The program offers the possibility to download all CAMPUS data (CAMPUS system files and producer
data files) in one single step or to update already available producer data files on the local drive.
How to use CAMPUS WebUpdate?
The downloaded ZIP archive includes the program file (WEBUPDATE.EXE) and the help file
(WEBUPDATE.CHM).
The program is a stand-alone version.

Initial installation (if no CAMPUS is installed yet)
Extract the ZIP file into an empty directory on your local drive.
Start WEBUPDATE.EXE with a double-click. Confirm the disclaimer.
The program prepares a list with all available CAMPUS system files and producer data files
and recommended actions.
Please note the size of downloading data. Depending on your transfer rate the download may be divided in
different parts
(e.g. only CAMPUS system files, than the producer data files)

Update existing CAMPUS data (up to version 5.0)
Extract the ZIP file into an existing directory with CAMPUS data. Start WEBUPDATE.EXE with a
double-click. Confirm the disclaimer.
The program prepares a list with all available CAMPUS data and recommended actions
Please note: CAMPUS data older than version 4.1 will get lost.
PLEASE NOTE: CAMPUS/DeskView will be closed automatically while using WebUpdate.
WebUpdate connects to the latest list of CAMPUS versions, located on the Internet, and compares the
version number and issue date with the locally installed CAMPUS system and producer data files.
The program prepares a list with information about the status of CAMPUS data: new, up-to-date, outdated,
replaced by another supplier or not valid (column "Status"). This list also includes
recommendations to handle the available data: update, remove or no action (column "Action").
