Product Texts
DESIGNATION ISO 12086-PVDF-E,GG1C,P.?E5.I.B.E.C,, ?(1.5-2.5) KYNAR PVDF are fluorinated thermoplastic homopolymers. Outstanding characteristics of KYNAR : chemical resistance, imperviousness to UV, high barrier properties, high purity, good mechanical and thermomechanical properties. Main applications of KYNAR: corrosion protection in the chemical industry, coating (painting, coextrusion), off shore, wire and cable. KYNAR 1000 HDC N 118 has the same properties than KYNAR 1000 HD and is used in the same applications (compression and transfer moulding, extrusion of thick walled parts : blocks, rods, plaques, tubes) but is black coloured.

Profile extrusion
PROCESSING
Melt temperature : 220-230 °C
Notice text : Due to the important shrinkage rules must be
: strictly followed for the calculation of the
: equipment dimensions(sizer, die and mandrel).
: See our notice "processing".
POSTPROCESSING
Annealing
-Temperature : 150 °C
-Time : 1 h
Compression molding
PROCESSING
Mold temperature : 190-220 °C
Molding pressure : 9- 15 MPa
Notice text : Compression molding must be done during a short
: time (2 to 3minutes) , with a high pressure at a
: precise temperature.
: Due to the important shrinkage, during cooling it
: is imperative to maintain a precise temperature of
: 155°C under a 8 MPa pressure for a duration of
: 1 hour by 20 mm thickness of the shape.
: (see our notice "processing").
