Resin: ISO 7792-PBT,MHR, A10-11,GF30

VESTODUR® X9402 black E70127 is a laser-markable, 30 % glass fiber reinforced, modified polybutylene terephthalate

(PBT) compound. Moldings of this compound show decreased shrinkage. The compound is suitable for injection molding

of parts with good thermal stability and high mechanical strength.
VESTODUR® X9402 has been developed for laser marking with a Nd:YAG laser system. The emitted radiation with a wave-

length of 1064 nm (near infra-red) causes a color change from black to white.

PREPROCESSING INFORMATION
Maximum Water Content: 0.05 %
When the indicated water content is exceeded, the resin must be dried. The drying time is dependent

on the drying temperature. We recommend a drying time of approximately 5 hours at a temperature of

120°C in a fresh air dryer, better yet would be a dry air or vacuum dryer.

PROCESSING INFORMATION

Melt Temperature:240 - 280°C
Mold Temperature:50 - 120°C
